David Fung is a DJ with Firm Foundation, bringing joyful, Christ-centered energy to high school and college parties. A graduate of Biola University’s Bible, Theology & Ministry program and Torrey Honors College, David has always combined music, faith, and mentorship.

Growing up in the Bay Area—where he swam competitively in high school—he developed a lifelong love for building community. That continued at Biola, where he co-founded the Pulchrum arts conference, taught in Torrey Theatre productions, and began ministering to high school students.

Today he teaches History and Theology at Pacifica Christian High School, while pursuing an M.A. in New Testament at Talbot. DJing has become a natural extension of his calling: creating safe, celebratory spaces where teens and young adults can dance without compromise.

David curates his sets with intentionality, blending clean, high-energy tracks with prayerful care. His goal is simple: to give young people a night they’ll never regret—and a glimpse of joy rooted in Christ.

“Music can form a culture,” he says. “I want every beat to invite students into freedom, celebration, and worship.”
